Subatech Scientific Council
The mission of this Council, made up of internal members, thematic experts and international scientists, is to support the research teams by providing a critical and constructive perspective on their scientific projects and strategic orientations. This annual meeting is a valuable opportunity to take stock of a team's major advances and to reflect together on its prospects for development. The Prisma team focuses its research on the interaction of radiation and particle beams with matter. Its work focuses in particular on the production of innovative radionuclides for medical applications, dosimetry in hadron therapy, the development of specialized detectors and ion beam analyses, particularly with the SMILES project. These topics, although varied, are deeply interconnected, both in terms of the scientific tools and approaches and the research teams involved.

This day, which was all about exchanges, was punctuated by presentations of ongoing projects, discussions on the challenges of fundamental and applied research, as well as reflections on the prospects for future collaborations.
Present were:
- Boleslaw WYSLOUCH, Director of the Laboratory of Nuclear Science (LNS) at MIT
- Denis DAUVERGNE, Director of Research, Laboratory of Subatomic Physics & Cosmology
- Thomas COCOLIOS, Professor of Nuclear and Radiation Physics, KU Leuven, Belgium
- Marc ROUSSEAU, Professor of Medical and Industrial Applications, LPC Caen
- Carmen VILLAGRASA, Director of the Laboratory of Ionizing Radiation Dosimetry, Paris
- Brigitte CROS, Research Director of the Laboratory of Gas and Plasma Physics (LPGP), Orsay
- Nicolas THIOLLIERE, Lecturer-Researcher, Subatech
- Marcus BLUHM, Lecturer-Researcher, Subatech
Many thanks to the Scientific Council for its availability, the quality of its advice and the valuable expertise it brings to our work. Its commitment allows us to benefit from relevant analyses and strategic recommendations essential to the success of our projects.
