The ceremony ended with a speech by Philipp Gutbrod, Hans's son, who expressed his gratitude to the scientific community for this sincere and warm tribute with great emotion.
The “Hans Gutbrod” Experimental Hall
The highlight of this tribute was the official unveiling of the plaque for the Hans Gutbrod Experimental Hall by the laboratory director, Pol-Bernard Gossiaux. By naming this major technical space in his honor, Subatech has permanently inscribed the name of its former director in its daily life and future. Subatech cherishes the memory of a visionary man whose humanity and simplicity will remain a model for future generations of researchers.
