Subatech opens its doors to 29 high school girls as part of the Girls and Science program13 April 2026On April 13, 2026, Subatech welcomed 29 high-school students for an afternoon dedicated to exploring careers in research, organized as part of the L’Oréal Foundation’s Girls and Science program.

CERN Masterclass 202626 March 2026On March 24, 2026, Subatech was pleased to welcome a group of high school students from two schools in Nantes—Lycée La Pervérie and Lycée Monge—as part of CERN’s International Masterclass. This annual event allows students to explore the fascinating world of particle physics and step into the shoes of real researchers.

Subatech participates in the CNRS's Échappées inattendues event19 March 2026From March 7 to 9, 2026, the Espace des sciences in Morlaix, Finistère, Brittany, hosted Les Échappées inattendues du CNRS, an event inviting the public to explore scientific research through original, interactive, and accessible formats.

"Science taille XX elles" ambassador Anne Piscitelli: "The laser force is with us!"12 March 2026A new edition of the project “Science taille XX elles” (Science size XX them) will be launched in 2026 in the Pays de la Loire region. Led by the CNRS in Brittany and Pays de la Loire, Le Mans University, Nantes University, the University of Angers, and the Femmes & Sciences association, it will showcase several new portraits of women in science in order to combat gender stereotypes that discourage girls from pursuing scientific careers. Among them is Anne Piscitelli, a research engineer at the Subatech laboratory.

EUROPA Project: Subatech at the forefront of laser-plasma innovation in the fight against cancer16 February 2026The Subatech laboratory is once again making a name for itself in cutting-edge research by coordinating the ambitious European project EUROPA (lasEr-driven Universal Radio-isOtope Production Accelerator). This project, which brings together a consortium of 13 partners, has just secured prestigious funding through the EIC Pathfinder Open call (with a selective success rate of 2.1%).
